Heart Speaks:
Sitting on a wooden chair on a nice tiled floor, suddenly I got a doubt. Why am I blessed with all these lucky things. Good food, nice room, beautiful campus ,what more does one need? I am not convinced by the fact that I am great and I am here . After leaning on the bed, I started thinking about my old days.From my childhood I used to say that I would become an engineer or a scientist. My school days were the best days in my life. I used to think of many ways to help the people. But now life has completely changed. My heart grew small and I stopped thinking about anything not related to me. What could have happened to me.After a few more days I saw a cartoon, which I liked very much. The name of the cartoon is avatar. After seeing a few episodes I could not stop from continuing and it took a whole day to complete all the episodes. Each episode has a good moral in it.The plot of the story goes like this.There is be a bad king ,who has a daughter and a son.The king wants to conquer all the other nations. His son is not good at fighting ,but his daughter is very cruel and good at fighting.For some reason(to achieve the lordship) he banished his son from the kingdom.The son(prince) has an uncle who also goes along with him.The uncle is a very wise and always used to teach good to the prince.The prince tries to get his honor back. He felt that he can do that by capturing the hero(avatar). And suddenly one day he kills the avatar(but he won't die) with the help of his sister and he gets back his honor and his respect. But he is still not happy.And when the avatar returns , he leaves the kingdom saying to his father that "I found my own destiny ,to join the avatar and help him defeat you".He realises the truth by his uncle's teachings. And imagine how difficult to join the enemy. He says to the avatar like this:
"I have been a lot through the past two years.It has been hard. But I realised that I had to go through all those things to realise the truth. I thought I lost my honor and somehow my father can return it to me.But I know now that noone can give you your honor, it's something you earn for yourself by choosing to do what's right."
And back to my story, these are the lines which really meant a lot to me. I realised that I have been doing many for the sake of false honor.I could not even remember my destiny, the destiny which I imagined when I joined here. I suddenly felt I am in the middle of the desert, going in the wrong direction. Now I realised how important it is to find one's destiny. Now I'll work hard for my true destiny. It's important to accept the truth and follow the rightful path and I 'm doing it.
PRICELESS MERCY(My blog's title)
Mercy is a quality which is superior to all other qualities. Showing mercy needs neither money, no power but a kind heart. It is the best quality man is bestowed with.It's best described by shakespeare in his novel as:
"The quality of mercy is not strain'd,
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest:
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.
'T is mightiest in the mightiest: it becomes
The throned monarch better than his crown;
His sceptre shows the force of temporal power,
The attribute to awe and majesty,
Wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings;
But mercy is above this sceptred sway,
It is enthroned in the hearts of kings,
It is an attribute to God himself;

And hence my blog gets its name.
